Feeling SO grateful 😇 (week 68)

 Whats up everyoneee. I had an awesome, busy, & miracle filled week!! God is good ☺️


Heres some highlights !!! 💫

- we felt inspired to stop by someone in our records who we've been trying to get in contact with and she was home! We had an amazing lesson with her, and set up a time to go back a couple days later. When we went back she had invited two of her friends to come join us!!! They are all from the Philippines, Kenya, and Jamaica!! How cool. We were so excited to find 3 new friends this week!! 

- went with the hermanas to the train station and carried around a whiteboard asking people to write things they're grateful for!! We met SO many amazing people and had such good conversations 

- MARGARET CAME TO CHURCH!!!! Best part was in Relief Society when they opened up the mic to anyone to share Christlike attributes of women in the room. Margaret was the first one to stand up and say how welcoming and loving everyone was and how much faith she saw in them 🥹 we were near tears

- last interview with President Oakes 😭😭 not even gonna lie I cried thee entire time. The Oakes have become family to me. They have taught me so much and I'm forever grateful for them and the impact they've had on my life. I hope I can be like them someday

- exchanges with Sister Jenks!! She came and joined me and Sister Gray for a day FULL of lessons 🤩 thats what we like

- we were kept safe this week while we had to get to our member dinner on a sketch road... definitely a highlight 👍👍

- sooo in case anyone was wondering there is the coolest library in Seattle. Its 11 floors and each floor is awesome. The picture below with the red halls is the 4th floor, we felt like we were in a heart or intestine or something haha

- TURKEY BOWLing with the sisters today!!🎳

Our mission right now has a goal of inviting 18,000 people to church before Christmas!! I have seen so many miracles and have found so much joy in inviting every single person I can to to come to church. When we go to church to partake of the Sacrament we are physically coming to Jesus Christ, and it is the most important thing we do each week. I wanted to invite you all to join us and invite someone to church!! I promise you will find joy as you do so, because I know that true joy is found through Jesus Christ. This is His church, help us to invite others to come unto Him especially during this Christmas season 🫶

Okay also I can't go without wishing you a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!! 🦃🧡🍂 I'm grateful for all of you and for all the support I have received on my mission. Every email, letter, package, or even thought means the absolute world to me. I am so blessed to have the greatest support system.

Island girl (week 19)

  Hiii everyone !! This was a super crazy week.... we had transfers and I got transferred out of mount vernon:( I was so sad to leave because I had only been there for 6 weeks but I had a really cool experience that testified to me that I did what the Lord needed me to do there. I'm so grateful for my time there and all the amazing people I met Nowwww I'm in ANACORTES !!!! YOU GUYS it is the most beautiful place... holy. The pictures dont do it justice. Come visit and see for yourself, you wont regret it. I live about 3 minutes from the ferry terminal and am over all the san juan island branches as well!! We have an apartment on the islands so we get to go out and stay a couple days there at a time. I feel so grateful to be serving the Lord here. My comp is Sister Boris and she is awesome. Shes from Texas and a triplet!! We are whitewashing again which is exciting but also stressful. Definitely takes a lot of time to adjust and meet everyone but its getting better!! HIGHLIGHTS ...

Last week in the mtc ahh

  Hey everyone!! Just finished another amazing week being a missionary. My time at the mtc is almost over... and I fly out to Washington on FRIDAY MORNING AHH!!! Literally like 3 days away what. I swear I just got here. I have seriously LOVED the mtc!!!!!! I'm feeling really excited and really really nervous about leaving and getting out into the field... but ready or not here I go haha My district has become like family to me. All 14 of us do everythinggg together and it's such a blast. Me and my companion are the only ones going to Washington so it's going to break my heart saying goodbye to them this week:( HIGHLIGHTS -Sister Hughes yelling "amen" in the middle of the prayer because she thought it was over -Playing missionary tag on wet grass... im shoked no one got hurt but there were a lot of good face plants -we had a substitute teacher named Mayo -found a zac efron pillow in our residence hall. Best day ever -singing Jesus wants me for a sunbeam for our ope...
