"are you guys vampires?" (week 39)

 Hi everyoneee welcome back :))


Funny story haha our friend told us that before he met missionaries he had a theory & thought that we were vampires and the church was growing so much because we were just collecting everyones blood hahah. So before he let missionaries and members into his home he was like "i just have to ask... are you guys vampires?" Literally couldn't stop laughing it was hilarious. There are some weird things out there haha


Highlights from my week!!

- we always help our friend debi with her garden and this week she gave us gardening shirts that say "plant kindness, grow love" aww haha

- our friends little boy got a pretty bad burn. We helped him get a blessing last week, and he is totally healed now. How amazing is that?! Ever since that our friend has been reading the book of mormon and has been posting it all over her facebook!! Wooohooo 

- SO many people canceled on us this week but sooo many miracles came from it. God gets us exactly where we need to be! 
- island weekend yayay i love the friday harbor branch!!!

- this was the low of the week but our friend Raelyn was supposed to be baptized on Saturday but we had to postpone it because she wants her dad to baptize her but he's still working through some things to be able to do it. Please keep Raelyn & her dad in your prayers!! :)


🌟🌟🌟

This week something really awful happened to one of our friends, we got the call and immediately got in the car to go help her. (Miracle because our lesson right then had just cancelled 2 mins before whaaat) We sat and held her as she just cried and cried. It was hard for me to watch someone I love feel so much pain, and there was nothing we could do for her except just be there for comfort. But it gave me so much hope to know that at least there is someone who does know how she feels, and can help her. It felt so good to have that knowledge to share and testify to her to help her through this hard time. I'm grateful for Jesus Christ and what He did for us, so we can find comfort, light, and hope through Him. His atonement was for YOU. Dont be afraid to turn to Him✨️ 🤍

Last week in the mtc ahh

  Hey everyone!! Just finished another amazing week being a missionary. My time at the mtc is almost over... and I fly out to Washington on FRIDAY MORNING AHH!!! Literally like 3 days away what. I swear I just got here. I have seriously LOVED the mtc!!!!!! I'm feeling really excited and really really nervous about leaving and getting out into the field... but ready or not here I go haha My district has become like family to me. All 14 of us do everythinggg together and it's such a blast. Me and my companion are the only ones going to Washington so it's going to break my heart saying goodbye to them this week:( HIGHLIGHTS -Sister Hughes yelling "amen" in the middle of the prayer because she thought it was over -Playing missionary tag on wet grass... im shoked no one got hurt but there were a lot of good face plants -we had a substitute teacher named Mayo -found a zac efron pillow in our residence hall. Island girl (week 19)

  Hiii everyone !! This was a super crazy week.... we had transfers and I got transferred out of mount vernon:( I was so sad to leave because I had only been there for 6 weeks but I had a really cool experience that testified to me that I did what the Lord needed me to do there. I'm so grateful for my time there and all the amazing people I met Nowwww I'm in ANACORTES !!!! YOU GUYS it is the most beautiful place... holy. The pictures dont do it justice. Come visit and see for yourself, you wont regret it. I live about 3 minutes from the ferry terminal and am over all the san juan island branches as well!! We have an apartment on the islands so we get to go out and stay a couple days there at a time. I feel so grateful to be serving the Lord here. My comp is Sister Boris and she is awesome. Shes from Texas and a triplet!! We are whitewashing again which is exciting but also stressful. Definitely takes a lot of time to adjust and meet everyone but its getting better!! HIGHLIGHTS
