Seattle stories... (week 66)

 This was a WILD week. I have so many stories from the last couple days that I will remember forever haha! 

Heres some highlights!!

- first off I gave my departing testimony on our mission wide devotional on Sunday ðŸ˜­ðŸ˜­ what. that was the most surreal thing ever

- sooo funny story. We were on the bus and we pull up to our stop and there is like 30 homeless people right there all doing drugs. A lady told us to not get off at that stop because its super dangerous... so we stayed on the bus and it ended up taking us to the next stop which was about 2 streets out of mission ðŸŦĢwhoops. But we hop off the bus and there were 4 elders at that bus stop from the seattle mission!! Hahah it was hilarious. What are the chances?! We talked to them while we all waited for the next bus to get there. We stayed safe and gained 4 new friends that day ðŸ’ŠðŸ’Š 

- met a lady named Carolyn who has the biggest desire to grow closer to Jesus Christ right now!!! I don't know if I've ever seen someone be so grateful to recieve a Book of Mormon ðŸĨđ 

- taught district council & the APs came!!

- me and Sister Jensen kept falling asleep... we are exhausted. I guess your first and last transfer does that to you ðŸ˜īðŸĪŠ 

- lots of people keep telling us that we look so similar even though we look nothing alike hahah it cracks us up #triplets??

- lots and lots of RAIN ðŸŒ§ðŸŒ§ 

- we had a couple lessons with some referrals that were very interesting... if you want more details let me know and I'll tell you a story ðŸ˜‚

- shoutout to Kito for being such an awesome member!! 

- we just had a good week with so many good interactions and miracles ✨️ I'm feeling so grateful!!

This week I studied and thought a lot about prayer. I think a lot of times we underestimate the power of it. PRAYER IS LITERALLY SO AMAZING!!! We get this opportunity to talk to God anytime and anywhere. He is ALWAYS there to listen and He will ALWAYS answer our prayers.

President Holland said, "My beloved friends, our prayers are our sweetest hour, our most “sincere desire,” our simplest, purest form of worship." Don't take your prayers for granted. Make them a sacred time with your Father in Heaven!!

Island girl (week 19)

  Hiii everyone !! This was a super crazy week.... we had transfers and I got transferred out of mount vernon:( I was so sad to leave because I had only been there for 6 weeks but I had a really cool experience that testified to me that I did what the Lord needed me to do there. I'm so grateful for my time there and all the amazing people I met Nowwww I'm in ANACORTES !!!! YOU GUYS it is the most beautiful place... holy. The pictures dont do it justice. Come visit and see for yourself, you wont regret it. I live about 3 minutes from the ferry terminal and am over all the san juan island branches as well!! We have an apartment on the islands so we get to go out and stay a couple days there at a time. I feel so grateful to be serving the Lord here. My comp is Sister Boris and she is awesome. Shes from Texas and a triplet!! We are whitewashing again which is exciting but also stressful. Definitely takes a lot of time to adjust and meet everyone but its getting better!! HIGHLIGHTS ...

Last week in the mtc ahh

  Hey everyone!! Just finished another amazing week being a missionary. My time at the mtc is almost over... and I fly out to Washington on FRIDAY MORNING AHH!!! Literally like 3 days away what. I swear I just got here. I have seriously LOVED the mtc!!!!!! I'm feeling really excited and really really nervous about leaving and getting out into the field... but ready or not here I go haha My district has become like family to me. All 14 of us do everythinggg together and it's such a blast. Me and my companion are the only ones going to Washington so it's going to break my heart saying goodbye to them this week:( HIGHLIGHTS -Sister Hughes yelling "amen" in the middle of the prayer because she thought it was over -Playing missionary tag on wet grass... im shoked no one got hurt but there were a lot of good face plants -we had a substitute teacher named Mayo -found a zac efron pillow in our residence hall. Best day ever -singing Jesus wants me for a sunbeam for our ope...
