"Lets just stick to talking about Jesus" (week 65)

 What's up everyone! This week was SO GOOD! So many miracles & memories. We're having so much fun in Seattle!! 

Highlights!!️️

- WE PICKED UP SISTER JENSEN!!! She just came in straight from the mtc! You guys... shes an angel. We have so much in common and are having so much fun. Shes from Gunnison UT and was on the drill team there! 

- We were at dinner with a 91 old lady in the ward and it was all chaotic helping her cook hahah but partway through me and Sister Gray were in the kitchen and she turns to Sister Jensen at the table and goes "So. Who are you voting for?" Me and Sister Gray were DYING laughing so hard because poor Sister Jensen didnt know what to say since it was her 2nd day in the field. She looked up at us but we couldn't even help her because we were laughing too hard ahah. But eventually Sister Jensen dropped an epic quote and said to her... "Lets just stick to talking about Jesus" 

- I saw like a bazillion miracles at church on Sunday. One of them was that an inactive member that moved from califonia a couple months ago just showed up at church and said he wanted to start coming back! && the second one was that I met a couple visiting Seattle that is friends with my Grandma back in Utah!! It just made me feel Gods love so strongly :))

- went to a family halloween festival downtown where they shut down a couple roads and all the businesses handed out candy!!  everyone in Seattle goes ALL OUT with costumes. It was so fun to see

-  Caden Lauders uncle is the bishop of the ward I'm in right now hahah whaaat crazy! He's a good friend from my high school!! 

- we were teaching a lady who referred herself, this was our first time meeting her and when we sat down to read the Book of Mormon she just whipped one right out of her backpack and we were all stunned hahah aparently she was taught by missionaries a couple years ago and still reads the Book of Mormon!!

- had my last zone conference.... not ready for all these lasts 

- SISTER LAGERHOLM CAME TO VISIT!!! I love her

- we met this lady at pike place who was just sitting on a bench outside of her apartment. We started talking to her and before we even mentioned that we were missionaries she goes "I was just sitting here feeling really bad about myself and I think I just need more Jesus in my life" UM WHAT! We gave her a Book of Mormon and she was over the moon excited about it!! We took her book to mark a chapter in it and she said "dont steal my book, I want that. You better give it back to me" ahhh hahha it was so sweet. She should be coming to church on Sunday! YAY! 

I don't know how many of you know this but there is a new Book of Mormon introduction on the Book of Mormon app... AND ITS SOO GOOD!! We've been reading it with lots of people lately and I feel like my testimony of this book has grown a lot recently. 

The last sentence of it says "May you find God on these pages and discover His messages to you." 

In our devotional last week Kyle S McKay said, "The scriptures are FULL of whatever is on your mind when you read them. The book is all about whatever you are thinking about, doesn't matter where you read."

Gods messages TO YOU PERSONALLY are on the pages in the Book of Mormon. I've seen this so much on my mission. I know you can find answers to your questions in this book, and you can find the messages God needs you to hear!! Just open up and read it
