Miracle fr (week 51)

 Hey hey everyone!! Such a good week with SO many miracles! 


🚨 Also just a heads up... next week will be my last monday pday because they will be changing to WEDNESDAYS in August!! I know this was a very inspired decision that my mission president has made so I'm excited for it! 


Here are some highlights:))

- got to go to the TEMPLE today! 😇😇

- put Paula on date to be baptized!! 

- did a blitz for an area in my district and there were SO MANY MIRACLES ✨️

- during our blitz, me and Sister Sorensen were pulling over and rolling down our windows to talk to people on the side of the road!! We made 2 friends in 5 minutes! It was SO COOL 🤩

- PAULA CAME TO CHURCH!! She was crying during sacrament meeting and said "I just feel like I belong here" AHH so special! 🫶🫶

- went to the doctors because I've been having problems with my ear which was a low of the week... but we got everything figured out AND the doctor was talking to us about our missions so i got to testify to her and that was super cool!!

- SISTER SORENSENS BDAY!!! 🎉 She wanted to go to the cheesecake factory so we went and a random member walked up to our table and slapped down money to pay for all of us and then walked away. She had no idea it was her birthday! Such a miracle and we were so grateful!

- got to see my aunt and uncle this week because they were here for my cousins baseball tournament!! So much fun!

I spoke in church this week about our covenant to be willing to take upon ourselves the name of Jesus Christ. This is a promise we make at baptism!! I got to ponder a lot about what that means to me. I'm very lucky because I get to physically wear the name of Jesus Christ on me every single day, but I know that when I am not a missionary anymore I will still have his name upon me, because it is written on my heart 🤍
I love my Savior!!

Island girl (week 19)

  Hiii everyone !! This was a super crazy week.... we had transfers and I got transferred out of mount vernon:( I was so sad to leave because I had only been there for 6 weeks but I had a really cool experience that testified to me that I did what the Lord needed me to do there. I'm so grateful for my time there and all the amazing people I met Nowwww I'm in ANACORTES !!!! YOU GUYS it is the most beautiful place... holy. The pictures dont do it justice. Come visit and see for yourself, you wont regret it. I live about 3 minutes from the ferry terminal and am over all the san juan island branches as well!! We have an apartment on the islands so we get to go out and stay a couple days there at a time. I feel so grateful to be serving the Lord here. My comp is Sister Boris and she is awesome. Shes from Texas and a triplet!! We are whitewashing again which is exciting but also stressful. Definitely takes a lot of time to adjust and meet everyone but its getting better!! HIGHLIGHTS ...

Last week in the mtc ahh

  Hey everyone!! Just finished another amazing week being a missionary. My time at the mtc is almost over... and I fly out to Washington on FRIDAY MORNING AHH!!! Literally like 3 days away what. I swear I just got here. I have seriously LOVED the mtc!!!!!! I'm feeling really excited and really really nervous about leaving and getting out into the field... but ready or not here I go haha My district has become like family to me. All 14 of us do everythinggg together and it's such a blast. Me and my companion are the only ones going to Washington so it's going to break my heart saying goodbye to them this week:( HIGHLIGHTS -Sister Hughes yelling "amen" in the middle of the prayer because she thought it was over -Playing missionary tag on wet grass... im shoked no one got hurt but there were a lot of good face plants -we had a substitute teacher named Mayo -found a zac efron pillow in our residence hall. Best day ever -singing Jesus wants me for a sunbeam for our ope...
