Welcome to the wem (week30)


Ahhhh hey everyone!! It was a crazy week!

Transfers here are wednesdays, but the new missionaries don't come in until the weekend. So I had some temporary companions and was in a different area for most the week while I waited to pick up my new comp. It was fun but I missed my own area! Feels good to be back. 

On saturday I picked up my new companion.... SISTER COWDEN!!!! You guuuyys shes like on her 3rd day here and is already such a baller missionary. We get along so well and are having so much fun! I love her!!🫶🫶



HIGHLIGHTS!!!

- went knocking and saw miracles saturday night‼️ gave out a book of mormon, got a number, and had a couple people tell us to come back!

- Relief Society galentines party woohoo💗

- Sister Smith and Sister Bayless came back and visited the mission!!!🥹🥹 seeing them was such a highlight

- a family tried to guess all of our first names and they could not get mine 😂

-got to see justin reyna when i was in mount vernon!! They are the family that I helped baptize the 3 girls!

- lesson on the beachhh😍

- we spoke yesterday in church! Kinda last minute thing but my comps a trooper for making it happen day 2 on the mish! She did so good

- not a highlight but I said bye to sister boris. It was terrible i miss her so much!! Love you! 

-also said bye to hermana walker :(( cant believe shes home! 😭

- Elder Berekemans first linger longer!!! + we had a family of non members there!

- pranked sister cowden pretty hard her first night here with an elder from Kiribati. We knocked on their door and we "talked" in his native language. But we made it so realistic. He played the part so well in his basketball shorts, tshirt, and messy hair haha. She was floored that I could just speak kiribati on the spot. I was just making up words but he was acting like he knew what I was saying. It was hilarious. I don't know how I held it together but I totally did. Shes a good sport haha🤣
^^^ fav part was when she turns to me and goes "GET HIS NUMBER"😂😂

Island girl (week 19)

  Hiii everyone !! This was a super crazy week.... we had transfers and I got transferred out of mount vernon:( I was so sad to leave because I had only been there for 6 weeks but I had a really cool experience that testified to me that I did what the Lord needed me to do there. I'm so grateful for my time there and all the amazing people I met Nowwww I'm in ANACORTES !!!! YOU GUYS it is the most beautiful place... holy. The pictures dont do it justice. Come visit and see for yourself, you wont regret it. I live about 3 minutes from the ferry terminal and am over all the san juan island branches as well!! We have an apartment on the islands so we get to go out and stay a couple days there at a time. I feel so grateful to be serving the Lord here. My comp is Sister Boris and she is awesome. Shes from Texas and a triplet!! We are whitewashing again which is exciting but also stressful. Definitely takes a lot of time to adjust and meet everyone but its getting better!! HIGHLIGHTS ...

Last week in the mtc ahh

  Hey everyone!! Just finished another amazing week being a missionary. My time at the mtc is almost over... and I fly out to Washington on FRIDAY MORNING AHH!!! Literally like 3 days away what. I swear I just got here. I have seriously LOVED the mtc!!!!!! I'm feeling really excited and really really nervous about leaving and getting out into the field... but ready or not here I go haha My district has become like family to me. All 14 of us do everythinggg together and it's such a blast. Me and my companion are the only ones going to Washington so it's going to break my heart saying goodbye to them this week:( HIGHLIGHTS -Sister Hughes yelling "amen" in the middle of the prayer because she thought it was over -Playing missionary tag on wet grass... im shoked no one got hurt but there were a lot of good face plants -we had a substitute teacher named Mayo -found a zac efron pillow in our residence hall. Best day ever -singing Jesus wants me for a sunbeam for our ope...
