Thankful for Temples (week 26)

 Hey hey everyone! Today is my pday because of our temple trip. A lottt has happened in the past week and a half!! Here's a bit about it:)

HIGHLIGHTS🌟
- TEMPLE TODAY WOOT WOOT 
- zone conferenceeee🙌🙌
- island weekend YAY! We got SO much done out there this week and meet so many amazing people
- we also spoke Sunday in the friday harbor branch on San Juan Island. I was the last speaker and ended up giving a 20 minute talk so that sacrament meeting didnt end super early haha. People said it was good, im glad because I was even getting tired of myself talking hahaha. 20 mins is a long time. We also taught the youth 2nd hour. Theres only one youth lol
- our friend renee is still trying to recover from surgery. We heart attacked her door! 🥰🥰
- a member that we're helping get reactivated is one of those mary kay ladies and she basically let us do a shopping spree at her house. Pic below it was awesome
- exchanges with sister axley in my old mt vernon area!! Sooo much fun & so many miracles
- cutest little boy drew me a picture (scribbles) and when i asked him what it was he just looked at me and said "amazing art"
- invited our friend Debi to pray about baptism!🙏 totally spirit led. It was so cool.
- game night with ysa was SO FUN
- a member made us home made costa vida the other day 😭 it was heavenly. I miss it so much
- yesterday was a straight miracle day. 5 lessons in a row AND every door we knocked on someone was home. Even made a new friend woohoo
- my mission president saying "thats a freakin miracle" over the pulpit

I'm not sure if I've mentioned this in my emails or not but part of my area is a military base. It's a Naval Air Station so we get fighter jet planes flying over us all the time!! They're super cool & so loud. Makes me wanna watch top gun so bad.✈️
Recently we have spent lots of time with women and families who's husbands are gone for deployment. 
One of those was a lady named Jordyn. She reached out to me over facebook this week, she is inactive and her husband isn't a member. He's doing pretty serious jobs for the Navy and he is worried that if something happens to him while he's deployed, he will never be able to see his wife again. 
As he talks about this, she's been able to teach him about temples and eternal families. He is SO HAPPY. She is sending him a Book of Mormon and they are starting to work towards going to the temple together! She wants our help getting her records moved, making some friends, and getting back to church!! Yayay miracles:))☀️😊
This week specifically I have seen a lot of families with husbands and fathers out serving our country, and they are just hoping that they will return safely. Seeing this has made me extra grateful for temples and the simple truth that families can be together forever 🤍 our Heavenly Fathers plan is so good:)
Getting to go to the temple today was the icing on the cake! 
I LOVE TEMPLES !!! 
I LOVE MY FAMILY !!!

  You're gonna wanna read this email😭 This was probably the best week of my mission. And this next week is gonna be even better.  Sooo the sisters that were here before us taught these amazing people... justin and kachie. Justin got baptized in july and his wife Kachie got baptized in september. They have the cutest 3 girls, Gabriella, Eula, and Taima. They are ages 9, 12, & 13. They remind me of me and my sisters and i love them. We started teaching them recently and this last week we had an amazing lesson about baptism with them. What it is, why we do it, and the covenants we make. That day we put their youngest daughter, Taima on-date to be baptized. The spirit was so strong. When I tell you I cried, I actually did. Tears of joy holy I am SO excited. She wanted to be baptized THIS FRIDAY THE 24TH. It's a girl!!!!😲💗 (week 29)

Hey hey people! Thanks for coming back to read another one of my emails First off... TRANSFER NEWS!!!! I'm suuuper excited because I'm going to be training a brand new missionary!! I'm gonna be a mom!!! (mission slang haha) I get to pick her up on saturday and ahhhh I just can't wait to meet her. I'm training her out here on the islands   im so excited and nervous. Buttt I'm stoked to stay here in oak harbor for a bit longer! HIGHLIGHTS !! - we spent valentines dinner with a family in the ward and the husband was gone so they made it a "galentines" dinner for us. It was so cute! - SISTERS CONFERENCE!! all the sisters in the whole mission were there! Sooo fun! It was good to get some girl interaction because we're the only sisters in our whole zone aha -played the tortilla slap game with ysa - some guy in public randomly just gave me a fortune/blessing... "The spirit of God, like a fire is burning" (week 38)

Hey hey everyone welcome back!! This week was our mission tour with a member of the 70. Elder McConkie came and spoke to us and it was amazinggg!! I'm so grateful for Him and the direction he gave to our mission! Buttt the subject line... on Wednesday we had a meeting with him and in the middle of his talk the fire alarm went off. THENNN church was about to start on Sunday and the fire alarm went off there too. We all just had to go stand outside for like 20 minutes!! No fires don't worry, not sure why it went off but it was crazy. That's never happened to me at a church before and then it went off twice in one week at 2 different buildings! 🔥 the spirit must've been so strong this week lol !!!
