MIDNIGHT MEMORIES (week 3)
Hey hey people! I just had another great week here in Seattle. Being in the city is nice because there's so many people to teach and we're finding and talking to people left and right. The work is going well and I'm loving it here.
First off the title of this email has a funny story to go with it. Last night I was sleeping and I heard my companion in the kitchen, so I thought I had somehow missed the alarm. I got up and thought it was morning... only to find out it was 12:30 at night and my comp just couldn't sleep so she was awake getting some milk haha. She saw me on my knees saying my morning prayer and was literally so confused. When my prayer ended and she was just starring at me and I'm still half asleep so I was just so confused. And then I was like "wait what time is it" and she goes "sister it's literally the middle of the night what are you doing" and it was sooo funny we couldn't stop laughing. Then we both couldn't fall back asleep because our apartment is so hot right now and we don't have AC so we just sat and talked right in front of the fan for awhile. Great memory hahahAnother highlight that deserves it's own paragraph is that we went to the temple with our friend Kito this week!!!! He is the one who was baptized my first day in the mission field. He has been so excited to be in the temple and being with him for his first time there was a really special moment for me. He said he felt like a "fat kid in a candy shop" because of the amount of joy he felt. The spirit in the baptistry was so strong and his eyes kept watering as we just sat and watched people be baptized for the dead. That time in the temple was the 5th time I have attended the temple on my mission... and I have only been out for just over a month. Not many missionaries can say that and I am SO grateful that I've been able to be in the temple so much. Happiest place on earth for real. Sorry disneyland hahaha. I LOVE THE TEMPLEHIGHLIGHTS- Saw so many fat cats. Every member here has the fattest cat it's hilarious- Our friend Douglas is so close to being put on date for baptism!! Pray for him please!- GOT OUR CAR BACK WOOHOOO- Lead my first lesson and it went so well! I'm getting more and more comfortable teaching- Peggys 73rd birthday!!- Bought some awesome sun glasses. Thanks targetNever give up an opportunity to testify of Christ!! Your testimony of our Savior can move mountains in someone's life. He loves you!!!!-Sister Bell
