Sister Jada Bell

 Rough day! We were all so excited for Jada to start her mission although we know we are going to miss her soooooo much! We headed to Provo about 10:30 and stopped for lunch at Raising Canes. As soon as we walked in her companion Sister McCall recognized Jada and jumped up to give her a big hug. That was a tender mercy to meet her as well as her family before they headed to the MTC. After lunch we went to the Provo Temple and ran into Elder Getting, Elder Lichfield and Sister Plicka! It was so fun to meet them and their families in person right before heading into the MTC! We got our first message from Lane and LaVona letting us know they found Jada at the evening devotional. They said, "She is so happy and wanted you to know she's already seen Lauryn and given her hugs and goodbye kisses. So sweet. And she is surrounded by friends and love." 

Hi everyone! I have been a missionary for 9 days now, which is crazy. I have finished my online training and I go to the Provo mtc tomorrow morning! I have loved being a missionary and have loved home mtc. Almost 8 hours of zoom a day can get long, but being able to stay here with friends and family for an extra week has been such a huge blessing to me. Not to mention I think I’ve literally learned more this week than I have in my entire life!!!!  I have the best teachers, district, and the best companion which makes it so much easier to go to Provo in the morning. My companion is Sister McCall!!! She’s from Colorado and she will be going to the Washington Everett Mission (the WEM) with me! We are such good friends already and I absolutely love her. God knows each of us perfectly and he definitely knew what he was doing when he put Sister McCall and I together. She has taught me so much and has helped me through the hard times this week.
